She was predeceased by: her parents, Georgia Marie Bowlin (Ely) and Addis Glenmore Bowlin; her husband James H. "Jim" Garvey; her daughter Dinah Lynn "Fizzle" Courter; her granddaughter Shawnta Marie Wynn; and her siblings, Barbara Sue Morrison, Anna Belle Neff, Judy L. Ellis, Wilma Jean Dillingham, Charles Bowlin, March, William Dale Bowlin and Donald P. Bowlin.
She is survived by: her children, Stephen Anthony Garvey of Hanover, IN, James Lee Garvey of Hanover, IN, Roger Dale Garvey of Vevay, IN, Jeffrey Glen Garvey of Erlanger, KY and Wendy Christine Kessler of Madison, IN; and her siblings, Lola Silva of Bonita Springs, FL, Nadine Kelso of Harko, IL, Sandra Moon of Vincennes, IN, Norman Bowlin of Ekron, KY, Bob Bowlin of Louisville, KY, Ronnie Bowlin of Oaktown, IN and Kenny Bowlin of Vincennes, IN. She is also survived by her numerous nieces and nephews.
