It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Velma Allen (Vevay, Indiana), who passed away on July 27, 2019, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Thomas and Ida Mae Derringer (Hughett); her husband Kenneth "Ken" Allen; her daughter Deborah Kay Griffin; and her siblings, Martha Jean Flory, Dorothy Scott, Genevia Dolch, Gracie Emma Taylor, James Thomas Derringer, II, Clifton Derringer, William Derringer, Russell Derringer and Rodrick Derringer.
She is survived by: her daughter Linda Franzone (Stanley) of Ridgeland, SC; her son-in-law John Griffin of Vevay, IN; her grandchildren, Christy, Jordan, Susan, Laura and Adam; and her sister Joyce Atwood of San Diego, CA. She is also survived by her several nieces and nephews.
