He was predeceased by: his parents, John M. Chambers and Edna Flo Chambers (Mattingly); his daughter Donna Sue Chambers; his son-in-law Dale Wayne Johnson; and his brother John Dale Chambers.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Rae Chambers (Bell) of Vevay, IN; his children, John Chambers (Rosie) of Franklin, IN, Diana Johnson of Vevay, IN and Valerie Smith (Kevin) of Vevay, IN; his grandchildren, Christina Koepf (Jason) of Deford, MI, Leslie Johnson of Greenwood, IN, Nila Johnson of Columbus, IN, Sam Smith (Alexis Snider) of North Vernon, IN, Ben Smith of Vevay, IN, Thomas Robert Chambers (Jackie) of Oregon, WI, Steven Joseph Chambers (Ashley) of Granger, IN and Matthew John Chambers of Greenwood, IN; his great grandchildren, Gerald, Austin, Ella Koepf and Pierson Chambers; and his brother Daniel Chambers (Carol) of Mitchell, IN. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
