It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger D. Boone of Vevay, Indiana, who passed away on October 4, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Boone and Virginia Clubb Boone. He is survived by: his wife Karen Sue Fitzgerald Boone of Vevay; his daughters, Angela Elswick (Jay) of North Vernon and Pamela Boone of Indianapolis, Indiana; his stepsons, Eric Thompson and David Koons; his grandchildren, Shea Mays (Chad), Maranda Elswick, Josh Koons, Rebekah Koons and Laken Thompson; his great grandchildren, Lilly and Ollie; and his sister Patsy Rose (Terry) of Bedford, Kentucky. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
The family requests memorial contributions be made to Brooksburg Baptist Church, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, and WHAS Crusade for Children. Contributions may be made at the Lytle Welty Funeral Home or below.
