He was predeceased by: his parents, Roger Henry Reed and Edith Reed (McKay); and his nephew Roger Wayne Reed. He is survived by: his brother Paul Roger "Sonny" Reed (Karen) of Vevay, Indiana; his nieces, Vicki Reed, Paula Hamilton (Mark) and Gina Pyles (Everett); and his aunt Jean Romans (Norman) of Lamb, Indiana.. He is also survived by several great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Vevay American Legion Post #185 Relief Fund or Union Baptist Church.
