He was predeceased by: his parents, Leland Scudder Lockwood and Nina Pauline Lockwood Jacobs (Smith); his daughter Deborah Ann McClain; his grandparents, Fred and Opal Lockwood (Scudder); his siblings, Nancy Jo Hughes and Loren P. Jacobs, Jr.; and his stepparents, Loren Paul Jacobs, Sr., Bernice B. Lockwood Pike (Sullivan), Gladys Lockwood Peelman (Walton), Corene Heath Lockwood (Smith) and Norma Lee Sherman Lockwood (Bovard).
He is survived by: his caregiver Davette Glenn-Kinnett (Rick Kinnett) of Lawrenceburg, IN; his daughter Volena Lynn Wells; his son-in-law Forest McClain of Bennington, IN; his grandsons, James McClain (Sonja) of East Enterprise, IN and Daniel McClain of Milton, KY; his half-siblings, Paula Kershner of Indianapolis, IN, Betty Reynolds (James) of Carmel, IN, Steven Jacobs (Jan) of Avon, IN, Robert Jacobs of Indianapolis, IN and Terry Jacobs (Jackie) of Indianapolis, IN; and his nephew Brandon Thomas Hughes. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
