He was predeceased by: his parents, Hattie Marie Rimstidt (Waller) and James Harvey Rimstidt; and his brothers, Asher Robert Rimstidt and James Leon Rimstidt. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Lee "Pat" Rimstidt (Sams) of Bear Branch, IN; his sons, Rodney Rimstidt (Laura) of Quercus Grove, IN and James "Jimmy" Rimstidt (Brandy) of Hebron, KY; his grandchildren, Abbey, Oliver, Violet, Fiona, Vada and Cole; and his sister-in-law Lenny (Janice Sams). He is also survived by his several nieces and nephews and his brother-in-law.
