She was predeceased by: her father Donald C. Shelton; her son Scott Paul Pennington, Jr.; her mother Patricia Evelyn "Pat" Shelton (Thompson); her siblings, Louise Covington, Mary Ann Kuntz, Linda Mae Shelton, Donald Rick Shelton and Tracy Shelton; her nephew Robert Ross Richards; and her great-nephews, Cayden Foster and Luca James Wooten.
She is survived by: her boyfriend Scott Parker Pennington of Vevay, IN; her siblings, Theresa McAdams of Aurora, IN, Susan Shelton of Florence, KY, Tina Gutapfel (Dan) of Sunman, IN, Laura Tice (John) of Vevay, IN, Kenneth Shelton of Vevay, IN, Paul W. Shelton (Chris) of Alvin, TX and Marvin Shelton (Hyong Sun) of Fort Hood, TX; and her pets, Ninja and Blue. She is also survived by her numerous nieces and nephews.
