She was predeceased by: her parents, Ike Smith and Jalie Smith (Gabbard); her husband Robert Charles "Bob" Butler; her daughter Tracy Lynn (Chandler); her son-in-law Robert "Butch" York; her stepchildren, Bryant W. Butler and La'Tesa Jean "Tesa" Gladden (Butler); her stepdaughter-in-law Eula Faye Butler (Booker); her great-granddaughters, Ava and Alivia Peelman; and her siblings, Kelly, Willard Smith, Dorothy Leibecke and Beulah Herald.
She is survived by: her son Kendall Chandler (Theresa) of Fairview, IN; her stepchildren, Trevor Butler of La Grange, KY, Shan Butler of Moorefield, IN, Faith Satchwell (Shawn) of Independence, KY and Meredith Coker (Butler) of Florence, KY; her stepson-in-law Joe Gladden of Del City, OK; her grandchildren, Justin Sandlin, Alicia Webb (Scott Heffelmire), Jake Chandler (Lindsay), Crystal Martin (John), Mark Chandler (Robin Rickett), Brayden Coker, Avery Rains, Bryonna Butler, Jessica Farrar, Allison Courtney, Jason Rook and Andrew Peelman (Daryl); and her great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Jonah, Ellie Kate, Remi, Jaylee, Clayton, Christian, April, Railie, Kinsey, Thomas, Lucas, Kenneth, Sebastian, Ashtyn, Briar and Sophia. She is also survived by her several nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Fairview Baptist Church (7270 IN-250, Bennington, IN 47011).
