He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Jonas Swanson, Sr. and Helen Elizabeth Swanson (White); his siblings, Gloria Swanson, Henry "Hank" Swanson, Jr., Kenneth S. Swanson, Sr., Sanford Swanson and Carroll Frederick "Buddy" Swanson; his niece Jodi Nicole Rowekamp (McClellan); and his nephew Jeremy Dale Knigga.
He is survived by: his uncle Buster; his sisters, Sharon Harlow of Rising Sun, IN, Shirley Cook of Lawrenceburg, IN and Ramona Titkemeyer Bartlett of Plant City, FL; and his sisters-in-law, Alice Swanson of Lansing, MI and Daisy Swanson of Bennington, IN. He is also survived by his several nieces, nephews and cousins.
