It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mechelle Woodard of Vevay, Indiana, born in Indianapolis, Indiana, who passed away on February 4, 2022, at the age of 51, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Paul Chitwood; and her sons, Zachary and Levi Woodard. She is survived by: her mother Jackie Frye (Rutledge) of Lebanon; her husband Ron "Woody" Woodard of Vevay; her children, Shane Woodard (MaKinsey) of Pittsboro, Brett Woodard (Paige) of Lebanon, Kari Woodard of Lebanon and Breanna Woodard of Vevay; her grandchildren, Addie, Savannah, Oaklyn and Westlyn; and her pets, Leia, Chewbacca, Cocoa, George, Willow, Presley, Mocha and Scooby.
Memorial contributions in her memory may be made to Riley Children's Hospital or Boone County Humane Society.
