She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Eliza VanTyle (Sherman) and Lawrence Earl VanTyle; her siblings, Elmer Nelson VanTyle and Lutha Mae Nieman; her brothers-in-law, Jim Aldred, James Ernest "Jimmy" Brooks, William "Bill" Shadday, Robert Earl "Bub" Peters and Richard "Dick" Nieman; her nephews, Stephen A. VanTyle and John David Nieman; her niece Jama Lois Hayes (Aldred); and her great-nephew Jonathan Nieman.

She is survived by: her granddaughters, Melinda Carole and Melody Caye; her husband Mason James Uhlmansiek of Rising Sun, IN; her children, Mark James Uhlmansiek (Shawna) of Rising Sun, IN, Maury Jay Uhlmansiek (Kaye) of Rising Sun, IN, Melinda Carole Kittle of Rising Sun, IN and Melody Caye Alexander (Andy) of Rising Sun, IN; her grandchildren, Mason Carlyle, Anna Marie, Duncan Lawrence, Maury Joshua (Jessica), Matthew Jacob, Tristan Alan, Chelsea Ariana, Zachery Alexander, James Gage and Kaden Ayron; her great grandchild Mica Jace; and her siblings, Florence Marie Peters of Vevay, IN, Doris Ann Shadday of Madison, IN, Lois Brooks of Columbus, IN and Lawrence Leslie VanTyle (Shirley) of Cleves, OH. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
