She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Edward "E. P." and Mary Naomi Peelman (Fulton); her former husband Raymond Otter; her husband Roy Francis Downing; her siblings, Virginia Peelman, Betty Tomlison, Roberta Kearney, Linda Carol Peters, Shirley Ann Marsh, Eugene, Robert "Bobby" and Charles "Chuck" Peelman; and her niece Cheryl Lynn Cunningham.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Coy (Greg) of Vevay, IN, Peggy L. Scudder (Randy) of Vevay, IN, Tammy S. Walton (Gary) of Lawrenceburg, IN, Jacqueline Chatham (Bobby) of Vevay, IN, Ray Otter (Connie) of Versailles, IN and Micah Downing of Bloomington, IN; her stepchildren, Linda Joy Furnish, LaDona Jean Scudder, Roy Downing, Jr. and Ronald J. Downing (Vonda); her grandchildren, Derrick Coy, Devin Coy, Erika Coy, Casey Scudder, Jordan Walton, Thomas Walton, Justin Chatham, Drew Chatham, Cheri Otter, Cari Otter, R. J. Otter and Noah Downing; her great grandchildren, Hayley Coy, Hannah Coy, Harper Coy, Hadlee Coy, Brianna Scudder, Mya Walton, Dominic Walton, Kira Walton, Tristan Walton and Faith Oliver; and her brothers, Gordan Peelman of Lawrenceburg, IN and Ronnie Peelman of Maysville, SC. She is also survived by her several step-grandchildren and her step-great-grandchildren.
Due to COVID-19 private family visitation will be held from 10:00 a. m. - 1:00 p. m., Monday, April 27, 2020, at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry. Due to COVID-19 private funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p. m., Monday, April 27, 2020, at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street, Vevay, Indiana 47043.
