She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold R. "Pete" Smith and Pruda Mae Smith (Remer); and her siblings, Danny L. Smith, Harold A. "Bubby" Smith, Linda Faye "Winnie" Ellis (Smith) and Corene Mae "Sissy" Smith.
She is survived by: her husband Charles Smith of Rising Sun, IN; her children, Troy J. Smith (Becky) of Florence, IN and Susan L. Smith Crouse (Andy Briede) of Taylor Mill, KY; her grandchildren, Billy Crouse, Joey Crouse, Angela Staggs and Michael Ellis; her great grandchildren, Adalynn and Bea; and her sister Tina Sandlin (Jim) of Pleasant, IN. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriner's Children or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
