It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Nickell of Vevay, Indiana, born in Winchester, Indiana, who passed away on July 26, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Audrea Comer (Cox) and Allen Clyde Comer; her husband Phillip Paul Nickell; her children, Rocky Charles Pegg, Ryan Todd Pegg and Kristen Leigh-Anne Kendall; her grandson Connor Allen Pegg; and her sister Patricia Sweat.
She is survived by: her daughter Bonnie Pegg of Vevay, IN; her son-in-law Gary Kendall of Vevay, IN; her stepchildren, David Nickell (Susan), Jonathan Nickell and Elizabeth Neal; her grandchildren, Nicole Hoover, Bryce Shaw, Nathaniel Shaw, Riley Pegg and J. R. Pegg; her great grandchildren, Alexander Hoover, Zoe Hoover, Farrah Shaw, Leia Shaw, Ryan Shaw, Karson Pegg and Keegan Pegg; her stepgrandchildren, Samuel, Caroline, Jessica and Ellen; her brother-in-law Jerome Sweat of Saulsbury, TN; her nephew Michael Wischmeyer; and her nieces, Jill Ridens and Natalie Hanna.
