The memory of Joy P. Briggs of Vevay, Indiana, who passed away on June 27, 2024 at the age of 89, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbur Frederick Pavy and Edith O. Pavy (Orem); her husband Kendrick Fay Briggs, Sr.; her stepdaughter-in-law Brenda Ann Briggs; and her siblings, Halstead, Ray, Marvin, Rev. Doyle "Jack", Paul, Wilfred "Willie", Kenneth "Bucky", Donald "Donnie" Pavy, Helen Cleeter and LeOra Rebecca Pavy.
She is survived by: her stepson Kendrick Fay Briggs, Jr. of Vevay, IN; her stepgrandson Brad Briggs (Amanda) of Vevay, IN; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Michael Allen Briggs and Allison Faye Briggs; and her sisters-in-law, Betty Pavy of Lawrenceburg, TN and Linda Pavy of East Enterprise, IN. She is also survived by her several nieces, nephews and cousins.
