It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janice L. (Brown) Ramsey of Vevay, Indiana, who passed away on March 25, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Brown, Sr. and Bernice Brown (McKenzie); her husband John C. "J. C." Ramsey; her son Alan Jay Ramsey; and her siblings, Virginia Burton, Mary Magness, Sandra Faye Lanham, Lolita Bolden, Charles Everett, Robert L. "Bobby", Clarence, Jr., Kenneth, Glenver "Jack" and Darrell Wayne Brown, Sr..
She is survived by: her son Micah Ramsey (Shawnna) of Vevay, IN; her grandchildren, Dustin Ricketts (Kayla), Kyla Ramsey (Anthony Henderson) and Joe Ryan Ricketts of Vevay, IN; her great grandchildren, Mason, Aubrey and Lilly; her siblings, Betty Callahan of Greensburg, IN and Keith Brown (Bonnie) of Seattle, WA; and her siblings-in-law, Nancy Brown Barker of Vevay, IN, Juanita Brown of Westport, IN and Skip Bolden of Tallahassee, FL. She is also survived by her several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Vevay Cemetery (800 E Main St, Vevay, IN 47043).
