It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Davidson (Vevay, Indiana), born in Napoleon, Indiana, who passed away on November 26, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Davidson and Deloris Emma Davidson (Laraway); his children, George Monroe "Buddy" Davidson and Jackie Rose Davidson; his stepson William DeWayne "Billy" Field; his siblings, Thelma LaBonty and Harold Davidson; and his brother-in-law Johnny Hayward.
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn E. Davidson (Brandon) of Lamb, IN; his daughter Georganna Ray (Troy) of Vevay, IN; his stepdaughter Tammy Welch (Eric) of Bennington, IN; his grandchildren, Ashley Gorrell (Josh), Alexis Carfield, Ariana Morris (Keegan), Amber Clark (Michael), Meghan Cobb (Jimmy), Juliana Welch and Colleen O'Sullivan; his great grandchildren, Greyson Everett, Brooks, Ruby, Myles, Jaxon, Capri, Wylder, Dalton, Hudson, Hadley and Harper; and his siblings, Harry Davidson (Nancy) of Burlington, WI, Jarold Davidson (Kim) of Indianapolis, IN, Janet Clark (Steve) of Seymour, IN and Linda Hayward of Indianapolis, IN. He is also survived by his several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home (208 Ferry St, Vevay, IN 47043). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Switzerland County Animal Shelter, Hospice of Norton King's Daughters' Hospital Charity of the Donor's Choice.
