He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey J. Jones and Caroline Jacqueline Jones (Childers); his siblings, Yvonne Jacqueline Jones, Harvey "Coke" Searcy Jones, Dana Jones, Darryl Wayne Jones and Kenneth Troy Jones; and his grandparents, Charlie, Minnie Jones, Carlyle and Louise Childers.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Ann McCord; his daughters, Sue Bushong (Johnny Canfield) of Madison, IN, Carrie Orndorff (Tye) of Jeffersonville, IN and Mindy McCord of Vevay, IN; his grandchildren, Allison, Bryce, Taylor, Morgan, Whitney and Wyatt; and his sister Chandra Scudder (Harlan) of Vevay, IN. He is also survived by his several nieces and nephews.
