David Hewitt Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Hewitt (Vevay, Indiana), who passed away on May 16, 2023 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley W. Hewitt and Mary Etta Hewitt (Hudgins); his wife Shirley Ann Hewitt (Tingle); and his brothers, Claude B. Hewitt, Stanley Hewitt and Danny Hewitt.
He is survived by: his grandchild Tracy Lee; his children, Steven Gary Hewitt (Jane) of Camden Wyoming, DE and Tracy Lee Nelson (Clayton) of Louisville, KY; his grandchildren, Lori Hewitt, Travis Hewitt (Amanda), Cody Nelson (Kalin) and Brandi Nelson (Chase); his great grandchildren, Sophia, Lillian Hewitt and Waylon Nelson; his siblings, Gene Hewitt (Sharon) of Taylorsville, KY, Norma Martin of Carrollton, KY, Ruth Proctor of Carrollton, KY, Stella Banks (Steve), Vevay and Jean Ann Patterson (Ray) of Marengo, OH; and his siblings-in-law, Wanda Hewitt of Carrollton, KY, Barb Tingle of Milan, IN, Belva Tingle of Madison, IN and Richard Taylor of Milan, IN. He is also survived by his numerous nieces and nephews.
