He was predeceased by: his parents, Broadus A. Covington and Pauline Covington (Jump); his siblings, Marvin Gerald Covington and Dora Ernestine "Mickey" Buchanan; his siblings-in-law, Evelyn Louise Covington (Shelton) and Michael John Lukie; his nephews, Marvin Gerald Covington, Jr. and Timmy Martin; and his niece Misty Noelle Bressert.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy J. Covington (Wagner) of Vevay, IN; his sons, Cody Covington (Jennifer) of Vevay, IN and Jeremy Jackson (Shannon) of Florence, IN; his grandchildren, Nathan Jackson, Lauren Jackson, Payton Covington, Aiden Covington and Jacob Covington; his sisters, Debra Earl (Gary) of Lexington, KY, Loraine Lukie of Aurora, IN and Annie Clark (Jim) of Clarksville, IN; and his half-sisters, Evelyn Sexton of O'Fallon, MO and Dolly Jean Polley of Covington, KY. He is also survived by his several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Due to COVID-19, masks are required along with social distancing.
