It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Young (Vevay, Indiana), who passed away on December 31, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lura Marie Young (Storie) and Donald Eugene Young; his niece Kimberly Renee Young; his grandparents, Gilbert Ralston Storie, Martha Elizabeth Storie (Andrew), Eugene Young and Katie Young (Gurley); his father-in-law Robert Allen Coy; and his brother-in-law George Arnold Harlow.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Young (Coy) of Rising Sun, IN; his sons, Darin Simpson (Tabbi) of Dugger, IN and Denton Simpson (Kami) of Rising Sun, IN; his brothers, Larry Young (Connie) of Rising Sun, IN, Jerry "Pete" Young (Vicky) of Rising Sun, IN and James "Jim" Young (Cynthia) of Aurora, IN; his grandchildren, Blake Simpson of Dugger, IN, Brinna Simpson of Dugger, IN, Brae Simpson of Dugger, IN, Alyssa Simpson and Landon Simpson of Rising Sun, IN; his mother-in-law Naomi Coy; and his siblings-in-law, Sue Whalen (Stan), Donna Harlow, Glenda Brown (Jim), Joann Wipf (Don), Benita Kaffenberger (Bill), Melanie McQueen (Terry), Louis Coy, Nathan Coy and Jonathan Coy (Lisa). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
