He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Holmer and Betty Jo Wilks (Guidry); and his brother Ernest Lloyd "Ernie" Wilks. He is survived by: his wife Marsha Kay Wilks (Holcomb) of Vevay, IN; his children, Anthony Wilks (Lisa) of Vevay, IN and Stephanie Droz (Jason) of Savannah, GA; his grandchildren, Lauren Ford, Landon Wilks (Tristan), Cameron Droz, Drew Wilks and Carter Wilks; his great grandchildren, Jayden Singleton, Shay Singleton, Julien Elam and Stella Wilks; and his siblings, Larry Wilks (Earline) of Spartanburg, SC, Eddie Wilks (Angie) of Sulphur, LA, Geri Heard (Richard) of Houston, TX, Joann Fontenot (Leo) of Lake Charles, LA and Mary Vincent (Russell) of Sulphur, LA. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
