He was predeceased by: his mother Evelyn "Eva" Pickett (Romans); his wife Alberta Avalon Pickett (Wiley); his father Joseph Brennen Pickett; and his sisters, Beulah Jane "Janie" Miller, Mary K. Jones and Betty Jo Lewis.
He is survived by: his daughter Sheila Rininger (Casey) of Vevay, IN; his stepson Steven Fields (Anna) of Rising Sun, IN; his grandchildren, Frank and Tiffany Rininger; his stepgrandchildren, Clinton, Victoria, Jacob, Thomas, Casey and Brian; his great grandchild Colton; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Lexi, Lily, Lacey, Bradley, Cameron, Brian, Corey, Bryce, Kaleb, Landon, Paige, Preslie and Paxton. He is also survived by his several nieces and nephews.
