She was predeceased by: her parents, George Earl Johns and Ola "B." Johns (Raisor); her son Robert "Bobby" Johns; her former husband John V. Brooks; her sisters, Lula Fields and Betty Baker; her infant-brother Earl Wayne Johns; her nieces, Debbie Lynn Mulford and Betty Lynn Tackett; and her siblings-in-law, Emma Johns, Don Evans and Elwood Haddix.
She is survived by: her daughters, Rhonda Lynn Brooks of Vevay, IN and Sarah Jean Milam-Chisenhall (Darlene) of Orleans, IN; her grandchildren, Jennifer Keith (Aaron), Tyler Milam (Amanda), Lesly Murphy (Blake Culbertson), Aaron Murphy (Tiffany Mullins), Melissa Davis (Andrew), Christopher Jordan and Ashley Jordan; her great grandchildren, Camdyn, Seth, Carly, Nicole, Kylie, Clay, Damon, Mila, Jace, Hope, Andrew and Austin; her siblings, Bill Johns of Florence, KY, Shirley Evans of Union, KY and Lou Haddix of Warsaw, KY; and her nieces, Lois Tackett of Walton, KY and Terri Williamson of Warsaw, KY. She is also survived by her other nieces, nephews and cousins.
