He was predeceased by: his parents, Rosie Kathryn Stewart (Craig) and Edmond C. "Ed" Stewart; his wife Addie W. Stewart (Bladen); his son James Lloyd Stewart; his stepchildren, Randy L. Anderson, Robert Dale Anderson, Mary Lemon and Brenda Jackson; and his siblings, Wayne Stewart, Donald Stewart, Robert William Stewart and Barbara Hatchell.
He is survived by: his children, Addie "Willena" Jackson of Hanover, IN, Linda Coppage of Madison, IN and Boyd Phillip Stewart of Madison, IN; his stepdaughters, Shirley Kroger Bailey (Roger) of Harriman, TN, Rose Thompson (Danny) of Akron, OH, Tammy Bentz of Madison, IN and Debbie Kester (Butch) of Auburn, IN; his grandchildren, Bradley Stewart, Tyler Jackson, Heather Jackson, Trevor Humphrey, Brady Humphrey, Sahara Stewart and Santana Stewart; and his sisters, Lucille Huffington of Delphi, IN, Wanda Harmon of Milton, KY, JoAnn Durkoff of Hillham, IN and Donna Hughes of Bedford, KY. He is also survived by his 4 great-grandchildren and 1 on the way; his 13 step-grandchildren and several step-great-grandchildren.
Due to COVID-19, masks are required along with social distancing.
