He was predeceased by: his mother Nancy Lorraine Sommer (Moffitt); his grandparents, William Roy "Bill", Helen Louise Moffitt (Smith), Charles L. "Buster" and Myrtle Elizabeth Davis (Moore); his siblings, Scott Davis and Becky Davis; and his brother-in-law David Duncan.
He is survived by: his father Benjamin Franklin "Ben" Davis, Sr. (Shirley) of Madison, IN; his wife Gail Lee Davis (Hambrick) of Vevay, IN; his children, Ashley Davis of Vevay, IN and Chris Peelman of Vevay, IN; his grandchildren, Braiden, Keylan, Acelynn, Justice and Landon; his mother-in-law Mary Jane "Janey" Peelman (Furnish) of Vevay, IN; and his siblings, Lorrie Duncan of Madison, IN, Heather Burton (Greg) of Greenwood, IN, Carolyn Rector of Madison, IN, Gloria Bookser (Bart) of Memphis, IN, John Davis of Madison, IN and Doug Leach (Deidra) of Hanover, IN. He is also survived by his several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
