She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Herbert and Sarah Alice Burris (Copeland); her husband Halbert Lawrence Walston; her daughter Dolly Ruth Watkins; her grandchildren, Adam Ritchie and LaDonna Hatcher; her great grandchild Victoria Griggs; her sons-in-law, Jeffrey Carroll "Jeff" Sloan and Robert O'Day; and her siblings, Glenn George, Frank Jerome, Jack Lawrence, Joe, James Howard "Jimmy" Burris and Sylvia Ann Goff.
She is survived by: her children, Vanessa Ritchie (Rocky) of Camby, IN, Valerie Sloan of Rising Sun, IN, Mae O'Day of Roanoke, VA, Michael "Mike" Walston (Bonnie) of Roanoke, VA and Amy Peelman (Jeff) of East Enterprise, IN; her grandchildren, Halbert Walston, Ken Ritchie (Monica), Robert Ritchie (Kayla), Alyssa Hatcher, Joey Freeman, Tonja Walston (Michael), Jason Griggs (Sarah), Rodney Griggs (Adria), Reed Watkins (Brooke), Jerrel Watkins, Chelsea Reagan (Justin) and Richie Lay; and her great grandchildren, John, Michaela, Allan, Dominic, Miles, Rosalie, Brady, Ali, Kayleigh, Brooklyn, Kyler, Kambrie, Michael, Nathaniel, Joe, Gabe, Abigail, Adam, Aiden and Amelia. She is also survived by her several nieces and nephews.
