He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Kreese and Patricia Kreese (Keeley); and his stepson Jimmy Myers. He is survived by: his wife Katharine "Kathy" Myers (Schilson) of Versailles; and his children, Matt Smith (Sherlind) of Taylorville, Andrew Smith (Kristin) of Taylorville, Illinois and Amber Smith (Wes) of Taylorville, Illinois.

Memorials may be given in honor of Bob to the family.
