It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Elizabeth Koons of Versailles, Indiana, born in Florence, Indiana, who passed away on December 13, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Bennett and Ethel Bennett; her husband Tom Koons; her children, Jacob Koons and Diane Bovard; her sisters, Marie Bussell (Swango) and Nellita Sandefur (Chase); her son-in-law David Fisk; and her great great grandchild Ezra Koons.
She is survived by: her children, Tom Koons (Vicki) of Versailles and Connie Fisk of Patriot; and her son-in-law Jerry Bovard of Rising Sun, Indiana..
