It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth O Powell of Veedersburg, Indiana, born in Fairmount, Illinois, who passed away on April 3, 2021, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Weaver and Ina Weaver; her husband Orville L Powell; her siblings, Billie Brown, Alice Simmons, Virginia Roach, Mildred Shepherd and Jack Weaver; and also Gilbert Powell.
She is survived by: her sons, William L Powell (Dodi) of Westminster, Colorado, C. Robert Powell (Andrea) of Lafayette, Indiana and Gregory C Powell of Veedersburg, Indiana. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the First Christian Church 301 North Mill Street Veedersburg, IN 47987.
