It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Marie Keerns of Veedersburg, Indiana, born in Kingman, Indiana, who passed away on December 14, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Helms and Ida Helms (McElwee); her son Richard Willett; her siblings, Eugene Helms, Lois Hand and Beverly Dennis; and her daughter-in-law Mary Anne Willett.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Crawford (Ronnie) of Evansville, IN, Debra Willett (Jack) of Westmoreland, TN, Dee Heisel (Jim) of Clarks Hill, IN, Lori Hightower (Stacy) of Marshall, IN and Larry Willett (Joyce) of Portsmouth, VA; and her sisters, Lora "Tootie" Clawson of Veedersburg, IN and Mary Jane Hendrick of Crawfordsville, IN. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
