He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Townsend and Mary Townsend (Salts); and his wife Linda Sue McKinney. He is survived by: his children, Scott D. Townsend (Denise) and Sabrina Thomas (Jimmy) of Georgetown, IL; his sister Lois Boswell (Paul); and his grandchildren, Dakota Townsend, Breann Townsend, Tabitha Lomax, Cayla Fuller, Donna McNeely and Vanessa Bauer. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
