She was predeceased by: her stepparents, JoAnn Phillips and Ray Holycross; and her niece Allyson Jordan. She is survived by: her parents, Luther D. Phillips of Attica and Elvie Holycross (Tucker) of Veedersburg; her husband Joe Carter; her daughter Lillyann "Lilly" Kaydence Carter; her siblings, Penny Krout (Kenny), Marla Tanner (Jack) and Tim Phillips (Angela); and her stepsisters, Kathy Kline (Justin) of Oakwood, IL and Ramona Bartlett (Larry) of Danville, IL. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
