She was predeceased by: her parents, James E. Sanders and Leah B. Sanders (Kaler); her siblings, Patricia Hambright and John Michael Sanders; and her son Alan Wayne Pearson.
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Cheryl Bolding (David); her grandchildren, Andrew Pearson (Jessica), Julia Eicher (Shannon) and Joshua Pearson (Carolyn); and her siblings, Charles E. "Gene" Sanders (Betty) and Dr. Beverly Jean Sanders of Carrboro, NC.. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
