She was predeceased by: her parents, Levi Cox and Mary Elizabeth Cox (Stephens); her son David Watson; her siblings, Nora Perry, Fred Cox, Dora Sumners, Elmer Cox, Leslie Cox, Flora Jones, Lora Cox, Margaret Cox, Zora Newton and Rosa Waters; her grandson Zachery Watson; her great grandchild Evaiya Reign Watson; and her stepgrandchildren, Crystal Morrison and Nathaniel Watson.
She is survived by: her children, Dianne Young (Paul), Dale, Dickie (Tara Withers), Jerry (Sheryl Grant) and Jeffery (Michele Atkins); and her stepchildren, Stanley (Wilma), Paulette Watson, Glenna Watkins (Ron) and Amanda Bechdolt. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 4 step grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and step great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Pitman-Richman Funeral Home (200 S Hartford St, Eaton, IN 47338). A burial was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 10703 IN-3, Muncie, IN 47303.
