He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira P. "Bill" Haymaker and Vonda G. Haymaker (Waller); and his brother Robert L. Haymaker. He is survived by: his wife Lisa Louise Preeman; his children, Amber Haymaker of Veedersburg, IN, Mark Allen Haymaker II of Veedersburg, IN, Robbie Sexton (Char) of New Market, IN, Joseph Sexton (Dakota) of Lafayette, IN and Amanda Nelson (Grover) of Onida, TN; his grandchildren, Alexis Sexton, Mackenzie Sexton, Lila Sexton, Evan Sexton, Emily Sexton, Remi Sexton, RaeAnn Nelson and Gabriel Nelson; and his siblings, Joseph L. Haymaker of Covington, IN, Dena Hinote of Crawfordsville, IN, Terry P. Haymaker (Brenda) of Lafayette, IN and Tony D. Haymaker (Cathy).

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
