She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew J. Allen and Norma Allen (Newnum); her husband Darrell L. Holycross; and her sister Anita Spain. She is survived by: her niece Kim Vincent (Brian); her daughter America Newnum (Sahib Ali); her stepchildren, Jaime Crane (J. C.) and Daniel Holycross; her siblings, Loretta Suiters (Mike), Andrew Allen (Janette), Laura Black (Dennis) and Mary Bowling (Jack); and her grandchildren, Dylon Holycross, Cadence Crane, Jayce Crane and Bailey Crane. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Widow's Benevolence Fund at First Baptist Church in Covington.
