He was predeceased by: his father Kenneth York; his daughter Elizabeth York; his brother Leon York; his son-in-law Loran Stricklin Jr.; and his sister-in-law Virginia Meihls.
He is survived by: his wife Rosemary Eloise Kolaiser; his stepchildren, Jenene Stricklin, James Gossett and Jeffrey Gosset; his brother Leland York; and his sisters-in-law, Kathy York and Delores Hancock. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; an aunt.
