He was predeceased by: his parents, Ted Byers and Elizabeth "Babe" Byers (Smith); his former wife Debra "Susie" Simon; and his siblings, William, Junior, Bradley, Clyde, Gary Byers, Mary "Dolly" Stembaugh, Betty Allen, JoAnn Jeffries and Sharon Rose Byers.
He is survived by: his significant other Brenda Bracken; his son Gregory J. Milburg; and his siblings, Nelda Hollinshead of Veedersburg, Kay Simonton of Veedersburg and Jim Byers (Sandy).
