He was predeceased by: his father Larry D. Chowning. He is survived by: his wife Tammy Hawkins; his children, Justin Chowning (Beth) of Danville, IL, Nathan Chowning (Erin) of Custer, SD, Jeremiah Chowning (Megan) of Veedersburg and Hallie Morgan; his grandson Nicholas Cole Chowning of Veedersburg; his mother Ruby Montgerard Danville (Bill); his sister Lori Chowning Danville (Dan Kerr); his aunt Jane Lyon (late Tom) of Wis; his niece Annie Eaton (Casey) of Ind; his grandchildren, Hunter, Skylar, Nick, Connor, Mason, Cash, Max, Jax and Elijah; and his close friends, Dan Kerr, Mike Taylor, Will Hamilton, Dave, Matt Murphy and Jim Brunner.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to the Tippecanoe County Historical Association or F & AM Lodge #491 in Veedersburg.
