It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Herbert Allen Franklin of Veedersburg, Indiana, who passed away on January 22, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Franklin and Evelyn Franklin (Davidson); his wife Stella Black; and his siblings, Carl, Darwin, John and Delores Franklin.

He is survived by: his children, Edward Franklin (Sharon) of Apple Valley, CA, Marie Kirkpatrick (Ron Benassi) of Crawfordsville, Daniel Franklin of Newton and James Franklin of Centerpoint; and his brother William "Bill" Franklin of Crawfordsville. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren.
