In the vast expanse of eternity, Gifford shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Gifford farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Nichols and Lena Jean Nichols (Walters); his wife Norma Nichols; his son Marvin Nichols; and his brother Ben Nichols.
He is survived by: his siblings, Les Nichols (Freida) of Mississippi, Murray Nichols of Veedersburg and Joyce Nichols of Veedersburg. He is also survived by daughter; several stepchildren and several nieces and nephews.
