He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Bentley and Margaret Bentley (Stonebraker); his wife Mary Bentley; his sons, Jeffrey Scott Bentley and Gregery Joe Bentley (Tanya); his stepdaughter Suzanne K. Heaton; his brother James "Tucker" Bentley (Peggy); his grandchildren, Heather Roman, Lauren Bentley, Alyssa Heaton, Chelsea Bentley and Austin Bentley; and also Marilyn K. Smith. He was also cherished by four great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to the Alzheimer's Association.
