She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred W. DePlanty and Mallie DePlanty (Martin); her husband Hugh F. Porter August; her siblings, Dorothy Matthews, Helen Akers, Eileen Shinn and Dale DePlanty; and her great grandchild Kelcie Marie Green.
She is survived by: her daughters, Marilyn Griffin (Joe) of Grand Rapids, MI and Martha Green (Kim) of Crawfordsville, IN; her grandchildren, Captain Michael Griffin (Abby) of Monterey, CA, Paul Griffin of Minneapolis, MN, Chris Green of Crestview Hills, KY, Kyle Green (Jena) of Union, KY and Kurtis Green (Kim) of Minneapolis, MN; and her great grandchildren, Xander Green, Siana Green, McKenzie Green and Kollin Green.
Memorial contributions may be given to Fountain County 4-H, which can be mailed to the funeral home.
