He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Russell and Winifred Lucille Current (Poage); his sister Rexanna Charlotte Cummins; and his great grandchild Leo Current. He is survived by: his sons, Scott Current (Tori) and Mark Current (Denise); his sisters, Zandra Block of Danville, IL and Darlene Meganhardt of Catlin, IL; his grandchildren, Adam Current (Samantha), Shelby Benike (Isaiah), Allyson Current, Trevor Current, Hayden Current and David Current; his great grandchild Gordon Current; and his close friend Elvie Holycross.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to Paws & Claws Animal Shelter or charity of choice.
