He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Barker and Effie Mae Barker (Simpkin); his wife Betty Lou Furr; and his siblings, Velma Graves, Thelma Wells, Austin Barker and Harold Lee Barker.
He is survived by: his children, Katrina Bowling (Tom) and Randy Barker (Beth Cates); and his grandchildren, Chera Carr (Mark), Marlana Spencer and Darin Bowling (Ashley). He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
