We are sad to announce that on November 28, 2024, at the age of 76, Barbara Ann Wait of Veedersburg, Indiana, born in Danville, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Smith and Eva M. Smith (Newkirk); her close friend Gene Lewis; and her brother William Leroy "Willie" Smith. She is survived by: her daughter Yvonne Brown; her siblings, Melva Smith and Allen Smith; her stepson James A Lewis; her grandchildren, Spencer Marxmiller (Lauren), Jordan Hollingsworth (Kyla) and Ashton Brown; and her great grandchildren, Owen, Lane, Riggs Marxmiller and Hensli Hollingsworth.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Dickerson Funeral Home (303 N Main St, Veedersburg, IN 47987). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
