He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Bollhoefer and Dessie Bollhoefer (Mathias); his wife Betty Mills; the mother of his children Lucille Bollhoefer; his siblings, Betty Edwards, Mary Lines (Wilbur), Cora Staggs, Donna Carlson, Dorothy Chance, Estle Young, Herman Bollhoefer and Harold Bollhoefer (Sybol); and his stepsons, Mike Ritter, Kenny Ritter and Jeff Ritter.
He is survived by: his children, Denese Wilson of Wabash and Gregory Bollhoefer (Lisa) of Jonesboro; his sister Ruth Anne Lawing (Dane) of Marion; his stepchildren, Paul Ritter and Carolyn Carter; his grandchildren, Jason Toy (Tonya) of Wabash, Aaron Bollhoefer of Weatherford, TX, Matthew Wilson (Kayla) of Wabash, Sierra Stoffer (Josh) of Marion and Elizabeth Gallaway (Tyler) of Marion; and his friend Bob Fincannon. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren;1 great-great-grandchild; several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
