She was predeceased by: her parents, George W. Smith and Madonna M. Smith (Robison); and her brothers, Richard Smith and Larry Smith. She is survived by: her husband Phillip F. Alexander of Hartford City; her daughters, Deborah A. Young (Daniel) of Matthews and Katherine E. "Beth" Brakel (Keith) of Van Buren; and her grandchildren, Corey Young (Chelsey), Candice Lawing (Jared), Christian Young (Chelsea), Cassie Young, Caleb Young, Heather Brakel and Brittany Blackwell (Brian). She is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
